Great layers of medium sized brown eggs, Rhode Island Reds are a classic backyard flock favorite.
We raised these hens from day-old chicks, right here on One Straw Ranch.
With careful attention to health, and only the highest quality non-GMO feed that we grind fresh here on the farm.
We got them through the fragile baby stage, and the exasperating training-to-the-nest-box stage.
Now all you have to do is provide shelter, food, water - and enjoy the bounty of eggs they're eager to deliver in return.
