Suet is the raw fat from around the kidneys and loin, and has many uses once it is rendered. With its high melting point it is great for frying. Make your own skin-loving tallow soap or salve. Mix with seeds and grains for wild bird food. Render on low heat in the oven, slow cooker, or stovetop and then strain out the solids.
All meat is sold frozen.
